The forgotten treasure...

I was then a child

When I sensed it first

I knew I had something

But no idea what it was

I kept it with me. For then,

I knew not what to do

Later in life, when I looked back

It was there lying in the dust

I picked it up

Rubbed it on my clothes

Expecting the genie of Aladdin

But I got a different kind of treasure

An abundance of joy and ecstasy

A feeling like never before

A feeling that I could enjoy

beautiful write!! :)
It is amazing how we can draw pleasure out of such seemingly trivial things!
We just need to realize the fact..and treasures of happiness are wide open!
