Over the vales of greenery
Over the misty lake
Over the fields of paddy
Which lies from end to end
The cloud fills up the sky
The breeze builds up its pace
Sound of thunder fills up the air
And raindrops starts to fall
The smell of soil fills the air
I peep out of my window
To feel the chilly air
To see the sights of the rain
People running for cover
To escape the drenching downpour
Children stops their games and mirth
And dejectedly head for home
Birds fly off to their nests
A sudden burst of lightning
Fills the sky with fear
Tell me my friend, Who enjoys the rain?
Over the misty lake
Over the fields of paddy
Which lies from end to end
The cloud fills up the sky
The breeze builds up its pace
Sound of thunder fills up the air
And raindrops starts to fall
The smell of soil fills the air
I peep out of my window
To feel the chilly air
To see the sights of the rain
People running for cover
To escape the drenching downpour
Children stops their games and mirth
And dejectedly head for home
Birds fly off to their nests
A sudden burst of lightning
Fills the sky with fear
Tell me my friend, Who enjoys the rain?
